FRIDAY SOARING SILVER FALCON WINNERS
Greeley-Evans School District 6’s Worksite Wellness Program is helping to kick off summer in healthy style with the Sprint Into Summer 5K and Kids Fun Run on Saturday, May 7 at Greeley West High School, 2401 35th Avenue in Greeley.
The 5K race will begin at 8 a.m. and the Kids Fun Run will start at 9 a.m. The course is certified for the 5K. Prizes will be presented to those who finish in the top tier in various age categories. Pre-race activities will begin at 7:30 a.m. Refreshments will be served to all participants following the race. Please leave your pets at home.

Monday 5/2: School Pride Day - wear any Silver Falcon apparel.
Tuesday 5/3: Crazy Mixed Up Dress Up Day - wear mismatched clothes, crazy hair, and/or silly socks.
Wednesday 5/4: Sports Day - wear any apparel from your favorite sports teams.
Thursday 5/5: Dress Like A Teacher Day - wear anything to dress like a teacher/staff member in our building.
Friday 5/6: Super hero day - wear apparel to represent your favorite super hero.
Join us for 6th Grade Orientation- meet your teachers and get some information about the 2016-2017 school year!

At McAuliffe We Make Learning Fun!
Christa McAuliffe Elementary School will begin transitioning to a K-8 school by adding sixth grade in the 2016-17 school year.
In addition, the school will adopt a STEM focus, which will allow students to receive additional instruction and learning opportunities in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
Students living outside the McAuliffe boundary can apply by filling out a Student Transfer Application.
Emma was in 5th grade at McAuliffe Elementary this past school year. Her favorite subject in school is math. Emma enjoys performing, gymnastics, swim team, golf and crafts.
Emily loves music, history, and climbing her tree. She enjoys playing computer games and learning in school.
Rachel was in 5th grade at McAuliffe Elementary this past school year and was born in Spain in 2004. She spent her first 6 years in Spain and now goes there during the summer.
Savana Long was a 5th grade student at McAuliffe Elementary this past year. She has many interests. She has been an actress and singer for over three years.
