We are extremely pleased to welcome the addition of Mrs. Elizabeth Urich as Assistant Principal at Dos Rios for the 2016-2017 school year! Mrs. Urich will replace Mr. Thompson when he assumes the role of Principal.
Urich earned her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Northern Colorado. Before joining Dos Rios, Mrs. Urich most recently taught 4th grade at McAuliffe Elementary, serving previously at Scott Elementary and Cameron Elementary. She is a thoughtful leader who brings great strength to the position of Assistant Principal in the areas of communication, collaboration, instructional leadership and the data team process. She is also a certified math demonstration teacher for District Six.
Urich is also familiar with the Primary Years Programme of the International Baccalaureate, for which Dos Rios is currently a candidate school, seeking authorization in spring 2017.

Naomi was in 5th grade at Dos Rios Elementary this past school year. She likes to do crafts. Her dream is to go to college and make good grades.
Emily was in 5th grade at Dos Rios Elementary this past school year. Her parents Rob and Laura Burnett and she grew up in Idaho.
Edgar is eleven years old and was a 5th grader at Dos Rios Elementary this past school year. His favorite sport is baseball. His favorite team is the Rockies. Edgar’s favorite subject in school is math.
