Danielle Bock

Danielle Bock is a native Coloradoan. Born and raised in Denver, she attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, receiving a BA in English Literature. After college, she relocated to Seattle, WA where she pursued a career in Food Service Management and Operations Leadership.

Her work history has taken her on a journey through food service, from pastry production to dinner service, from prep to executive chef, eventually ending up as the Director of Operations of the Food Bank serving all of Western Washington.

Now back in Colorado, Danielle is dedicated to the idea of people eating for a happier and healthier life.  She believes that food is a right, and not a privilege, and everyone should have access to quality food and the facts about what they are putting in their body.

Kara Sample; RDN; SNS

Kara has worked as a Dietitian in the school food industry for 10 years.  She manages the department’s menu development process and ensures compliance with USDA standards for all programs.  Kara is a graduate of Colorado State University and serves as the Chair of the Nutrition Committee for the Colorado School Nutrition Association.

Lori Pudliner

Lori has been with Nutrition Services since Nov. 2015. She has oversight of all aspects of the financial side of the department and works closely with Finance. She is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado. Lori has worked with Kansas State Board of Education, Colorado Department of Education, and the Texas Education Agency in a variety of roles over her career. She is passionate about the health and nutrition of children in our schools and the impact it has on their education.

Matt Poling

Matt is a culinary arts graduate from Paul Smith’s College in New York state.  He leads our  production team comprised of a Sous Chef and 13 additional skilled individuals.  This team has 3.5 years of experience in high volume food production from sauces to main entrees and is well versed in processing local agricultural products into usable end products for our school kitchens.  Matt works extensively on recipe and menu development.

Rachel Hurshman; MPH; RDN

Rachel is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and has her Masters of Public Health from the Colorado School of Public Health. She has gained wellness experience in a variety of settings, including Thompson School District, University of Colorado Health, and the University of Michigan. Rachel has been the Wellness Specialist for Greeley-Evans School District 6 since May 2013 and has enjoyed her role in leading committees and programs for both student wellness and worksite wellness.

Debbie Boston

Debbie has been with D6 for 27 years and oversees a complex of 15 schools, located in Central Greeley. In addition to the daily support she provides for our school kitchen teams, Debbie, is tasked with oversight of the department’s safety programs, as well as a number of other support services for our kitchen teams.

Caitlin Christensen; SNS

Caitlin is a School Nutrition Specialist and holds Bachelors of Science degree in Dietetics from Iowa State University. She is a passionate about child nutrition and strives to ensure no child goes to bed hungry.  Caitlin is responsible for oversight of schools in the west side of Greeley as well as Standard Operating Procedures and Staff Training Programs.

Dan Lukasavitz; SNS

Dan started with the district in 2011 as a Production Assistant in our Central Production Kitchen. Since then, Dan has worked as a Production Manager, Roving Kitchen Manager, Manager of Jefferson High School, and is currently the Area Supervisor of our East Complex. Dan also actively participates on our Employee Recognition, Technology, and Social Media Committees.

Amanda Martinez

Amanda was born and raised in Colorado. She has been with the School district 5 years starting out as an Attendance Secretary for an Elementary School and is now the Free and Reduced Registrar for the Nutrition Department. She oversees  the processing and accuracy of the Free and Reduced Meal Program for the District to ensure as many students are approved for Free or Reduced meals as possible. For the 2015 – 16 school year Amanda ensured 13,007 students received Free or Reduced Meals. Amanda also provides support for the entire office as well as overseeing Human Resources for the department and translation of documents.

Logan Vance

Logan is a public relations graduate from the University of Northern Colorado. Logan ensures that the department is represented in a professional manner at all times. He provides general administrative support  and assists the department staff, faculty and visitors in a variety of ways. Logan moved to Greeley from the Eastern Plains about 5 years ago and is proud to be part of the Nutrition Services team.
