The District 6 Success Foundation has awarded Centennial a $750.00 grant towards the fifth grade Denver Museum Science Exploration project. We are set for our field trip to the museum on Friday November 18, 2011. We will be seeing many things at the museum that help us in science, but specifically the Colorado River exhibit which reinforces our landforms unit, and the Human Body in Action interactive exhibit which supports our Human Body unit.

The Success Foundation allowed us to use these funds to have the DMNS come to Centennial to teach several classes related to our science units. The classes they will be teaching on Tuesday November 29, 2011 are: New Me, You’ve Got Guts, and Move It which all reinforce our Human Body Unit.
