Centennial has an active parent group. They have monthly meetings with translators available. Child care and dinner is also provided. Parents learn about what is going on in our school, and how they can help their students be successful.

Our October meeting for 2012-2013, focused on homework. Parents were given ideas on how to best help their children be successful with homework. Families also received homework help items including flash cards, story discussion questions and books. It was a successful meeting.

November meeting for 2012-2013 focused on literacy and the importance of having 20 minutes a day set aside for reading each day. Students chose books for their home libraries and read to their parents before the close of the meeting.
