All Monfort Parents are invited to attend MSA monthly meetings to learn more about the school and opportunities to support the Monfort Teachers and students. MSA is responsible for making decisions regarding fundraising, carnival, and how funds raised are allocated to help students and teachers.
 Our MSA officers for the 2016-2017 school year are:

Hello Monfort Parents,

We want to remind you of our very important Annual MSA Meeting April 11th at 6pm in the Learning Lab. At the meeting we can vote in new executive officers and continue our work and support for Monfort or vote to dissolve the MSA. Nominees will be made from the floor and must have been cleared to volunteer at Monfort since March 28, 2017.

Listed below are the officer positions and their duties in accordance with the MSA Bylaws:

President- OPEN

Duties: The President shall preside over MSA meetings and Executive Board meetings, serve as primary contact for the principal, and represent the MSA at meetings outside the organization.

Vice President- OPEN

Duties: The Vice President shall oversee the committee system of the MSA, assist the president and carry out the president’s duties in his/her absence or temporary inability to serve.

Secretary- OPEN

Duties: The Secretary shall keep all records of the organization, take and record minutes, prepare the agenda and ensure ballots are ready for voting purposes. He/she will manage all communications and marketing for the MSA including, but not limited to handling correspondence, newsletter, bulletin board and website updates, and sending notices of meetings to the membership. He/she must also keep a copy of the minutes book, bylaws, rules, membership list, and any other necessary supplies, and brings them to meetings.

Treasurer- OPEN

Duties: The Treasurer shall work in conjunction with the Monfort Office Manager to oversee all purchases and deposits; To keep an accurate record of receipts and expenditures. He/she will be a signer on the MSA Purchase Order Requests. He/she will present a financial statement at every meeting  or when requested by the Executive Board and prepare and deliver a year-end financial report including a breakdown of all receipts and expenses at the Annual MSA Meeting in April.

In addition to the duties stated above, all officers must attend monthly Executive Board Meetings and General MSA Meetings. They must also be available to volunteer at all MSA Events.
