As a gifted/talented facilitator, I bring to my job a background in the performing arts, having played the flute and taught elementary music for 28 years at Jackson and Madison Elementaries.  My Educational Specialists Degree is in Gifted/Talented Education and I made the full time switch to G/T Education three years ago.  I am at Jackson all day on Thursdays and my time is focused on helping classroom teachers meet the advanced needs of gifted/talented students in their classrooms.  You are welcome to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have about G/T identification and/or programming.
