Everyday Mathematics (EDM) for Third Grade
With each unit taught in school there is a family letter available, which explains what is taught during that unit.  Each parent letter has been posted.  We encourage our parents to use this letter to help their children better understand and complete their homework.
 
 
Student Council
This year in student council, we will be holding elections.  5th and 6th grade students will be eligible to hold an office.  Each committee will have two elected representatives.  These representatives will be running the committees with the help of a teacher.

Committees:
Leadership (5th and 6th graders) - Students will help solve school wide problems and promote On TRACK behavior with all grade levels.  They will help bring guest speakers to our school.
Friday Morning News (4th-6th grade) - Student will research and develop news stories for the announcements each Friday morning.
Community Service (1st-6th grade) - Students will help our community by planning community service projects.
Health and Wealth (1st-6th grade) - Students will help create brain break activities for the school.  They will also promote healthy eating and lots of exercise!
Spirit (1st-6th grade) - Students will keep our school spirited by planning spirit days throughout the school year.
