Welcome to S. Christa McAuliffe Student Council Link
The purpose of the Christa McAuliffe Student Council is to develop attitudes and practices of good citizenship and community service, to encourage student participation at school activities, and to develop leadership skills in students.
We have a student council that consists of 77 students at this time. These 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students are ambassadors of Christa McAuliffe. There are high expectations in and out of the classroom for students who participate in student council. Students will attend school regularly and be prepared to learn. They will also demonstrate SOAR behaviors at all times.
Meetings will begin promptly at 7:35 a.m. in room 16. Please be on time! All meetings for the remainder of the year are posted on the Student Council Calendar. Regular monthly meetings are held on the first Friday of each month, unless there is a conflict with the school calendar. Additional meetings may be scheduled as needed for special events. Watch the student council website for any changes or updates.
