My name is Lauren Hall.  I teach Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry for the ENGAGE Online Academy.  I also teach math classes at Greeley-Evans Alternative Program (aka GAP).  I am a graduate of Midwestern State University with a B.S. in Mathematics and Kinesiology.  I have acquired a Secondary Mathematics Teacher’s License in both Texas and Colorado.  I taught in Texas for seven years and in Colorado for two years. 

The online math classes will consist of interactive lessons, videos, discussions, interactive activities, problem sets, and tests!  Math can be difficult to learn on your own, but you will have many resources at your fingertips.  Student/teacher communication will be required.  Note-taking skills are essential for each of these classes!  If you are a self-motivated student and desire a different environment in which to learn Algebra I, II, or Geometry, I encourage you to join us at ENGAGE Online Academy. 

I am very excited to be a part of ENGAGE Online Academy.  This school is going to give students different alternatives to learning, and the use of technology will help prepare them for the future. 

In conclusion, I have an awesome husband, Jon, and we have two Labrador retrievers.  My hobbies are being outdoors, hiking, camping, and skiing.  I also love sports and am a huge college sports fan!  I currently ref basketball and play on a softball team.  My favorite teams are LSU, Tennessee, Baylor, Kansas, and UNC (Tar Heels).  I’m very involved with my church and enjoy reading when I get a chance.
