Welcome to Ms. Swank's eClassroom Website

Markee Swank, originally from Glenwood Springs, CO attended the University of Northern Colorado where she received degrees in both Biology and Kinesiology.  She has also received a Master's degree from the University of Phoenix in School Administration.  Ms. Swank has been teaching for over 12 years where she has taught such classes as Cellular / Organismal Biology, Advanced Placement Biology, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Earth Science, Natural Science, Athletic Training, and Health & Medical Technology I and II.  Ms. Swank thoroughly enjoys teaching and believes that she can help students learn more about science by building on the interests of her students and showing them the world around them through a scientific lens.  In addition to teaching, Ms. Swank is also very active in extra-curricular activities.  She has coached girls' basketball and is currently a Certified Athletic Trainer, who was  awarded the Denver Nuggets Outstanding High School Athletic Trainer Award back in March, 2011.    Ms. Swank also enjoys spending time with her two young daughters, reading, and playing sports (softball, volleyball, golf, & basketball).
