21st Century Community Learning Center Grant

This Federal Grant issued through the state of Colorado Department of Education provides exciting after-school programs for students and learning opportunities for parents.
  Student programs include extended learning in literacy, math, and science along with enrichment activities such as art, music, drama, and recreation.
 
Parent involvement includes computer classes, adult English Language classes, Workshops for Parents through the Colorado Parent Information & Resource Center and a variety of adult education classes.
 
The 21st Century Programs run five days a week during the school year.  Fourteen Weld County District 6 School Sites are under the umbrella of two 21st Century Grants.

  • Shawsheen Elementary School
  • Franklin Middle School
  • Heath Middle School
  • John Evans Middle School
  • Northridge High School
