Bruce W. Broderius, Ph.D.

Bruce W. Broderius was appointed to the Board to fill a vacancy and was elected to a four-year term in 2003 and 2007. He also is active in the community as Chair of the Promises for Children, a member of the Board of Directors for the United Way of Greeley and Weld County, President of the Weld Library Finance Corporation, founding member of the High Plains Chautauqua, Board member of the Colorado Protectors of Public Schools and Great Education Colorado, and Professor Emeritus of the University of Northern Colorado.
His son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren live in Greeley where he has been a resident for 40 years. |

Linda J. Trimberger

Linda J. Trimberger has been a life-long resident of Northern Colorado. She received her Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Northern Colorado in Elementary and Gifted Education.
She was a classroom teacher, teacher of the gifted and talented, Teacher on Special Assignment, and Literacy Coach for 33 years in School District 6.
Mrs. Trimberger comes from a large Hispanic family and dreams of one day writing stories about her family. She has one son who lives in Longview, Washington. She and her husband, Dan, spend their free time gardening, reading, and traveling. |

Robert C. Stack

Robert Stack, having completed two years, now is serving a four-year term. He is a lifelong learner and has been a district community member since 1972; involved in a number of local and state committees dealing with handicapped children, transportation, community planning and CVB.
As a TEACHER for more than 25½ years in Viet Nam, Bailey, Colo., and Greeley-Evans, he has taught pre-school to post-college; also Science Consultant for the Colorado Department of Education.
He is a retired Air Force officer with 31 years service.
Robert and his wife, Mary, have two children who are both successful graduates of our school district. |

Mark Hinze

Mark Hinze graduated from Greeley High School (now Central High) in 1950, went to Colorado State College of Education (now the University of Northern Colorado) for two years, transferred to the University of Denver and graduated in 1954.
After graduation, he served 40 months in the U.S. Navy and, while serving, passed the exam to become a certified public accountant. He moved back to Greeley in 1963 to work as an accountant.
In the 1980s he took up restaurant management and in 1991 switched to selling Metropolitan Life Insurance.
He and his wife Betty have been married for 51 years and have three children.

Doug Kershaw

Doug Kershaw is a lifelong professional musician. Born in Louisiana, Mr. Kershaw’s first language is Cajun French. He is married and has five children and two grandchildren. |

Judy Kron

Judy Kron recently retired from United Way of Weld County after 20 years. She has been involved with many nonprofit organizations, currently chairing the Church Relations committee of Greeley Area Habitat for Humanity.
She and her husband Rok, who is a dentist, have lived in Greeley for more than 30 years. They have two children and five grandchildren. |

Brett Reese

Mr. Reese grew up on a large farm and ranch in Wyoming. In 1991, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Toccoa Falls College in Georgia. Mr. Reese is the owner and general manager of KELS radio (104.7 FM), which is headquartered in Greeley. He is active in politics, serving on several political committees. He is married and has two daughters. |

Dr. Ranelle Lang

Ranelle Lang was the first in her family to graduate from college, earning a bachelor’s degree in special education from Kearney State College, in Nebraska.
She followed that up with two master’s degrees, one in educational psychology and another in educational administration. In 2000, she earned her doctorate in educational administration from Wichita State University.
Dr. Lang has been a teacher and a counselor at schools of all levels, from preschool to college. She was also an assistant dean of the education college at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
She has been an instructional leader and administrator for school districts in Kansas and Colorado, and has been with District 6 since 2005. |
