We at Greeley-Evans School District 6 are excited to welcome back our students, families and staff for the 2016-17 school year. I hope you had a fun and restful summer break, and are ready to learn and experience all the opportunities we offer in District 6.

Our staff is committed to engage, empower and inspire each and every student who walks through our doors. Our mission is to provide every student with a personalized, well-rounded and excellent education in a safe, caring environment. Every employee, from our food service staff to our classroom teachers, are here to serve our students, and to ensure they have the best educational experience possible.

As I start my second year as your Superintendent of schools, I continue to see amazing work being done in every District 6 school. This year, we are working to implement a strategic plan - Innovation 2020 - that will outline our priorities and goals for the coming years. We know we have work to do to ensure that every child gets exactly the education and support they need to be successful and reach their goals. But we are doing it, and I am committed to continuously improving District 6 to better serve the children of Greeley and Evans.

And, if you find we make a mistake, or we aren’t doing something right for your child, we want to hear from you. Communicate your concerns or questions with your teacher, coach, principal or other staff member. We know that our families are the most important resource we have to help our students succeed. Let us know what we can do to make your child’s educational experience excellent.

Thank you for sending your children to District 6. I am proud to be here leading an amazing group of people who are dedicated to serving students. Your students are in great hands. Welcome!
