    Rockies District 6 day at Coors Field will be Sunday, April 23rd at 1:10pm.  All District staff and students are invited to purchase tickets to see the Rockies play the San Francisco Giants.  Tickets are $15 for lower level tickets and $3 for upper level tickets.

    The deadline to purchase tickets is Monday, April 10th at midnight (for online sales) and 3:30pm for purchases at the GCHS main office.

    Tickets that are purchased will be available to pick up from the GCHS main office the week of April 17th.

    Auditions for Graduation Speakers will be held on Wednesday, April 12th in room 307 at 3:30pm.

    The order of speakers to the panel will be random and will be decided at that time. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Appelhans ASAP.

    Deadline to sign up for auditons is by the end of the day Tuesday, April 11th.  In order for your audition to be considered you MUST fill out this online form:

    This year's white and gold Havana themed prom will be held on Saturday, April 22nd in the UNC Ballroom (2101 10th Avenue) from 9pm to midnight.  Tickets can be purchased online from the GCHS web store (click here) or at the door.

    Costs are $25 for a single ticket or $40 per couple.

    All GCHS Seniors are free of charge.  We hope to see everyone from the class of '17 & '18 there.

    We will be having our final Parent Teacher Conference for semester 2 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm on Wednesday, April 5th.  These conferences will be held arena style in the main gym & commons area.

    Please enter through the West entrance to pick up report cards, find teacher locations and Infinite Campus questions, as well as other questions you may have regarding your student.

    Sports registration will be done ONLINE this year.

    Sports registration IS NOW OPEN for spring sports.   Follow the link below to go to the sports registration page directly:


    If you played a Fall or Winter sport you will still need to register for winter sports, however you will not need to create a new account or start from scratch. Simply follow this link and log in into your existing FamilyID account; there will be an option for you to choose which student you would like to register and it will fill in the majority of your registration for you.

    Spring Sports Night will be February 21st, with spring sports beginning on February 27th .  All students MUST have their online registration completed in order to participate in any practice.

    Please make sure your physical is up to date and that we have correct insurance information, including group ID numbers.

    Every year each student who wishes to be considered for free & reduced lunches must have their parent or guardian fill out a new application.

    The best method of doing this is online.  Completing your application online takes significantly less time and will facilitate a quicker turnaround time for determining your status.

    If you prefer to fill out a paper application you can pick this application up from the main office or go directly to Nutrition Services at the Service Center located at 2504 4th Avenue.  Please note that filling out a paper application does take longer to process and get results.

    Please note that students who have not had an application processed as of September 30th, 2016 will have a "paid" status until October 5th.  After that date, the student's free & reduced status will be revoked, so please don't wait until the last minute to complete this application.

    Please drop students off at the West entrance (student parking lot) in the morning for school.  This parking lot is designed for a better flow of traffic.  The Faculty parking lot (located on the North side of the building) is not designed for high-volume traffic and by trying to drop your student off at the North doors creates a bottle-neck on 15th Street and in the parking lot itself.
    The West entrance (student parking lot) creates a safer area for your student to get into the buildinig rather than having them walk across 15th Street in traffic.  Thank you for your attention to this as we strive to keep the area safe for not only your student but for you as well.

    Please also remember to bring a photo ID with you when you come to pick up your child.
    Although some staff may know the parents of the students not everyone in the office may be familiar with you or your child.
