Mr. Taylor Plantt

Hi there!

My name is Mr. Plantt and I will be your students' middle level STEM teacher! I currently teach robotics, technology applications and computer science. You can expect your students to get a very hands-on, project-based experience in all of my classes. STEM has always been a passion of mine and I hope I can help share that passion with everyone in my classes.

To help you get to know me, here is some quick information about myself:

I was born in Texas but grew up here in Greeley, Colorado (I went to Meeker, Monfort, Heath, and Central High School!)

I love frisbee golf, hiking, traveling (I have taken students to Costa Rica and Iceland in the past), and board games.

I have a 3-year-old daughter named Layla, 2 dogs (Mira and Poe), a cat named Gretel, and a lovely wife who teaches 2nd grade here at McAuliffe.

When I am not coding and building things in my classroom, you can find me working in the woodshop in my garage or creating objects with my 3D printer.

I taught Physics and Computer Science at Greeley West High School for 5 years before coming to McAuliffe.
