Emily Abbott

Hello Hawks! My name is Emily Abbott. I teach 6th grade Math and Social Studies. This will be my third year of teaching and my second year at PHMS! I was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. I have lived in Colorado for 7 years. I completed my bachelors degree in Business Administration at the University of New Mexico. I earned my Master's of Arts in Teaching at the University of Northern Colorado. I help Mrs. Roberts run the Student Council here at PHMS. When I'm not teaching you can find me throwing sponteanous dance parties in my kitchen, learning new songs to play on my ukulele, making balloon animals, and my favorite, having game nights with my two amazing children. I love teaching at Prairie Heights and can't wait for another school year to begin!
