Bridget Garcia

My name is Bridget Garcia. I am excited to be starting my second year as Assistant Principal at Meeker. I am very grateful to the Meeker community that has welcomed me with open arms. I truly love coming to work every day and getting to work alongside such an amazing staff. This will be my 10th year in education. I have previously worked as an assistant principal, reading specialist, and teacher. I received my bachelor's degree from CSU in Human Development and Family Studies and my master’s degree from the UNCo in Teaching Diverse learners. Spanish was my first language. I grew up in Greeley and I’m a District 6 graduate. My husband Gabriel and I have a two year old son named Joàn. I love being a mom and watching him learn and grow. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching movies, and hanging out at our family farm. My passion is education and ensuring all students' individual needs are met. I look forward to continuing to support our students, families, and staff at Meeker this school year!
