  • Inclement Weather Parent Communication

After implementing a snow day this week, the District 6 leadership team has reviewed the district’s guidelines and procedures around closing schools because of bad weather. For several significant reasons, for the remainder of this school year we will not halt learning because of bad weather and will instead switch to remote learning when the weather conditions create a safety issue for travel. Students will meet with their teachers online for their regular school day if the weather is too bad to host in-person learning at our schools. Students who are learning online this year will continue as normal. Click for more details.
