District 6 Headlines
Highlights from the April 26th, 2018 Weld County Special Olympics Colorado Track Meet!
On Wednesday, April 12th, McAuliffe K-8 STEM Academy hosted the district’s 1st annual STEM Symposium. Students from around District 6 presented their STEM work and lead in discussions about those projects and answered questions. District 6 recently received a $150,000 grant from the NEA Foundation to support STEM programs and activities in schools.
As with many schools across the country today, students at the Christa McAuliffe STEM Academy got an opportunity to witness the solar eclipse. Leading into the viewing, each class reviewed safety procedures, watched a short introduction movie and had individual assignments that coincided with each student’s grade levels.
