2022 Summer Volleyball Camp
Please join us this summer for a Girls Volleyball Camp for 22-23 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls. Camp costs $10.00, but scholarships are available. Use the following form to register.

Boundary Adjustments
Greeley-Evans School District 6 is working with Shannon Bingham of Western Demographics to complete a boundary study for elementary and middle schools. The purpose of the boundary study is to create a homeschool boundary for the new Tointon Academy of Pre-Engineering, create a homeschool boundary for the new Madison PK-8 school, relieve schools that are over capacity and remove portable classrooms, and determine where to build additions onto existing buildings that are over capacity.

At McAuliffe, We Make Learning Fun!
S. Christa McAuliffe S.T.E.M. Academy is a K-8 school. The school will continue to implement a STEM focus, which will allow students to receive additional instruction and learning opportunities in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Welcome back, and happy first week of school to all of our students and families!

District 6 cuts ribbon on new Greeley West High School
With a snip of the scissors, a new era officially began Tuesday evening for Greeley West High School, as Greeley-Evans School District 6 officially opened the new school, replacing a 60-year-old building that had numerous challenges and structural issues.

Free breakfast and lunch for District 6 students this school year
All students in Greeley-Evans School District 6, including students attending charter schools, can access free breakfast and lunch this school year as a result of the District 6 Board of Education’s unanimous vote on Monday, August 8, to fund school meals for the 2022-2023 school year for all students who do not otherwise qualify. In order to eat for free, parents must complete the Free and Reduced Meal Application, regardless of the family’s income level. Click above for more information!

Greeley-Evans School District 6 has received the highest level of recognition, the Leading the Way Platinum award, from the Aetna Workplace Well-being Award program.

109 District 6 students earn AP Scholar honors
This year, 109 Greeley-Evans School District 6 students have earned the prestigious AP Scholars award for their outstanding performance on 2022 Advanced Placement tests. District 6 has nearly doubled the number of students achieving AP Scholar status over the past few years. In 2012, the number of AP Scholars was 57. Over the past 15 years, more than 1,200 District 6 students have been named as AP Scholars by the College Board.

Apply for School Meal Benefits
Time to apply for School Meal Benefits before the 2022-2023 school year! School Meals will NOT be free starting in August 2023. Waivers granted during the pandemic that covered the cost of school meals are expiring. Beginning August 3rd, 2022, student accounts will be charged for meals unless they qualify for School Meal Benefits. If you received School Meal Benefits last school year, you still need to apply. However, you will have a 30-day grace period where your meals will be free until the end of the grace period or you submit a new application.

Mark your calendar for the 9th annual School Kickoff Community Celebration, to be held in the Event Center at Island Grove Regional Park. This annual event provides high-quality backpacks and school supplies to District 6 students, preschool through 12th grade.
