Welcome to Scott!

            • Dear Parents/Guardians:

Due to the outbreak of Norovirus at our school, we were unable to perform for the District 6 and Friends Artwalk Concert on Friday, March 1st. Our Choir and Art students have prepared and worked so hard for this performance, so we would love to honor them with another opportunity to perform.

On Tuesday, April 2nd, we will have a gallery of the Scott artwork in the front of the school and leading to the gym. We will have a remake of our Choir Concert in the Gym at 6:00.

For the concert, please bring your student to Mrs. Longwell's classroom (Room 47) to warm up and get ready by 5:45. The concert will start promptly to 6:00 p.m. in the gym.

Performance attire is encouraged, such as collared shirts and dresses for girls. Students may wear attire thatmeets school dress code and jeans with no holes. We have worked hard, and we would like to show off!

Thank you for your flexibility, and we can't wait to entertain you! Also, you are more than welcome to stay afterwards for the PTO meeting in the library at 6:30.

              Thank you,

              Beth Townsend

The Colorado Department of Education visited and filmed Centennial Elementary School to learn more about the dramatic academic turnaround in the school and our District. By focusing on the success of all of our students, the state of Colorado has seen 8 out of 11 District 6 schools move off of the state’s accountability clock. We are extremely proud of the work being done at Centennial Elementary! We hope you'll take a couple minutes to watch and learn more.
