Grade:5th 

“The influence of a good teacher can never be erased” (Unknown).  I start off with this quote as this is my objective and goal.  I am a University of Northern Colorado graduate with an ESL Endorsement and Reading Minor. 

I encourage you to ask your student about their school day and make sure their assigned homework is completed and returned to school as well as signing their planner nightly. Also, watch for school-wide communications in your child’s backpack.  We are also implementing AVID again this year.  This program will help your child to stay organized throughout the year with having all subjects in a binder. 

In my spare time, I enjoy walking my two dogs, spending time with my two kids, and traveling to our farm in Minnesota as much as possible. I am very excited to begin my ninth year as a fifth grade teacher at Jackson Elementary this year, and I feel blessed to be doing what I love!  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
