History of Heath Middle School

  • Heath Middle School is named in honor of Edith V. Heath, who taught in Greeley area schools for 43 years, beginning in 1899. Ms. Heath's brother Herbert was also a teacher. At the time it opened in 1955, Heath was considered to be on the far western edge of Greeley.
