Grade: 1st Grade

Welcome to Mrs. Zacharko's 1st Grade class! My name is Sara Zacharko or Mrs. Z and this is my fifth year at Shawsheen Elementary and my fourth year teaching 1st grade.  I have a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University, GO RAMS, and a master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado. 

Outside of the classroom, I love to spend time with my husband, Mr.Z, our dog, Winston, my family and friends. I also love to run, bike, play sports, watch football, and explore all that Colorado has to offer.

I am so grateful to be a part of such a great community and to be able to call myself a Shawsheen Thunderbird! I look forward to meeting each and every one of you!
