ANTI-BULLYING PARADEOn Monday morning, October 31st all Winograd CUBS big and small gathered on the Northridge High School practice field to work together to stomp out bullying.
An anonymous donor purchased a T-Shirt for every student and staff member at the school. The T-shirts had a CUB riding in a car and said “Stick it to Bullies!” on the front, with the student’s grade level displayed on the back.
The CUBS assembled into their Caring CUBS Connect groups. They then marched around the field holding banners they had created earlier in the month The banners had anti-bullying bumper stickers phrases on them and encouraged alternatives to bullying and for all to take a stand and lend a hand against bullies were displayed throughout the field. It was a great way for all of our CUBS to show COURAGE!
