Ms. Nicole Liddiard

Hello There!  Thank you for visiting! 

My name is Nicole Liddiard and I am a fourth grade teacher here at S. Christa McAuliffe S.T.E.M. Academy.  I am honored to be a member of McAuliffe’s soaring silver falcon family.  We are truly a wonderful community… students, parents, teachers, staff, and ALL.  I look forward to making our classroom a part of the McAuliffe community. 

Here’s a bit about me…

I am a proud Colorado native, born and raised in Grand Junction.  The Colorado mountains are my happy place, and I enjoy all of the things that they have to offer.  Kayaking, paddle boarding, and camping are my most favorite activities.  I have a black lab, named Gamble.  She is my fur-baby and takes up a huge piece of my heart.  We spend a lot of time together playing and snuggling. 

I graduated from Colorado Mesa University, in Grand Junction, Colorado.  There, I taught 2^nd grade for 6 years before moving to Greeley.  This will be my seventh year teaching fourth grade at McAuliffe.  And, just so you know, fourth graders are my favorite!  I am passionate about teaching, and can’t imagine doing anything else.  Each day, I strive to make sure that EVERY child learns, EVERY child knows that they are important and valued, and that EVERY child is held to the highest of expectations.  Learning is not always easy, but through perseverance, learning from mistakes, and reaching for the highest of stars, we can grow.   My students are my kids and I feel privileged to teach each and every child.  This will be the best year yet!
