Hello! Thanks for stopping by...  This is my fourth year teaching Cultural and Language Diversity.  Before coming to Scott, I taught third and fourth grades for the last 16 years, all here in Colorado.  We are a retired military family who raised four boys mostly in California, but a three year tour in Germany and two years in Italy certainly made an impression on us living and working among different cultures and learning ( a little) of the local languages.  I work with kindergarten students as well as 4th and 5th graders who are working on adding to their first language by learning English.  This teaching role allows me to get to know more about the students I work with and meet their needs in becoming English proficient.
