Welcome to 2nd grade!

My name is Alyssa Diaz and this is my 3rd year at Scott. I graduated from UNC with a BA in Elementary Education and a minor in Japanese! I taught English in Japan during summers as a student at UNC.

 I was born and raised in Aurora, CO but I currently live in Greeley with my husband. We recently tied the knot in March and had our ceremony in August! He and I love to spend time with our family, watch our favorite T.V shows, play board games and the play the occasional video game together! 

I strive to create an environment where the space is welcoming, engaging, and where communication is clear and consistent so that strong relationships can be formed between myself, students, and their families.
