Welcome to the Meeker Elementary Gifted and Talented Web Page!

My name is Pam Smith, and I am the G/T Specialist for Meeker, Dos Rios, and Maplewood elementary schools. I have a varied background in education. I have been a classroom teacher for almost all the elementary grade levels. I have also been a middle school computer teacher and gifted classroom teacher. I have also worked as a gifted coordinator in other districts. My background in gifted education started when I was looking for ways to meet my own daughter’s needs. I know how important it is to challenge all students to do their absolute best.

As a GT Specialist at Meeker Elementary, I work directly with teachers and students on higher level thinking opportunities. I am honored to assist teachers, students, and parents to support our gifted and talented population.
