District 6 breaks ground on new Madison PreK-8 School
Ground was officially broken on the new James Madison STEAM Academy PreK-8 on Tuesday, marking the beginning of construction of a building that will replace Madison Elementary School.

McAuliffe STEM Academy Open House & Tours
The 50,000 square foot addition to McAuliffe is the first major project to be completed that was funded through the 2019 bond issue. It includes a larger gymnasium, new secure front office and entrance, expanded cafeteria, new STEM labs and a new wing of classrooms. This addition means that 16 portable classrooms will be removed from the campus and all students will be learning inside the school.

McAuliffe STEM Academy: It's Finished!
The new 55,000-square-foot addition constructed on the north side of McAulifee STEM Academy opened for business on January 4, welcoming students to new classrooms, cafeteria and gymnasium, as well as a new administrative office with a secure entrance.

Principal, mascot, colors selected for Tointon Academy
Justin Ungeheuer, a veteran administrator in Greeley-Evans School District 6, will become the principal at the new Tointon Academy of Pre-Engineering, which will open in August of 2022. With 14 years of experience serving as a school administrator, Ungeheuer is currently the principal at Monfort Elementary School, where he has served for six years. He will maintain the position at Monfort until a new leader is hired to take over at the school. Click above for more information.
