Hello There,

My name is Artist Ballard, and I am proud to say I am the visual arts teacher here at Scott. I am excited about starting the 2022-2023 school year and beyond happy to start my third year here at Scott Elementary School. 

A few things about me: I am a Colorado native, born in Boulder, CO. I graduated from The University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Art Education and Photography, and a minor in psychology. I was able to receive additional leadership training during my time at UNC, as I was the Lead Student Supervisor at Tobey Kendel Dining Hall. This includes Safe Zone, CPR/First Aid and Mental Health First Aid. I also received my associates degree from Front Range Community College. 

When I am not teaching, I am an avid video game player, mainly playing Final Fantasy 14. I also have three amazing pets, my dog Loki, my mainecoon cat Scooby, and my youngest kitty Venat.
