Hello/ Hola, my wonderful D6OA kindergarten leaders and families!

I’m Mrs. Gonzales, your very excited kindergarten teacher! I have grown up in the Greeley/Evans School district and for the last 17 years I have been teaching in my community.

I have taught all grades but my favorite is working with your little ones! I have taught in kindergarten for the last 11 years. The last year and a half I have taught kindergarten online and it has been the most extraordinary and wonderful experience. Families you will be amazed as I am always with my kindergarten students. 

I have three kiddos in District 6 in 1st, 4th and two 11th graders. I  have been married for 17 years to my wonderful husband who is in the Airforce and works for Woodward Governor.I hope the kiddos like him as our class pet. 

I have 2 Masters in Education. One in Reading and Mathematics and one in Educational Leadership that I received from the University of Northern Colorado. I value empowering students, families, and staff I work with to find their genius to lead themselves in life and education. I’m a Specialist in teaching The Leader in Me 7 Habits of Happy Kids. Together your children and I will explore leadership skills to be better community members. 

Relationships are key in your child's success online. Together, we will empower your kindergartener to be their best!  I am so excited to work with you as well as your child.
