Northridge graduate completes Vestas apprenticeship

Student Spotlight: Liam Newman-Edwards, Fred Tjardes School of Innovation

Livestream: Board of Education Meeting

The Board of Education will meet today, Monday, November 27, 2023 in the first floor Board Room at the District 6 Administration Building at 1025 9th Avenue. The Work Session begins at 4:00 p.m. in Aster. The Outgoing Board Reception begins at 5:00 p.m. on the main floor of the District 6 Administration Building. The Business Meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room, and will stream LIVE on our YouTube channel.

District 6 open enrollment applications open November 1, 2023

Beginning Wednesday, November 1, Greeley-Evans School District 6 will accept applications for students who want to attend a school that is outside their boundary area. Any parent or guardian interested in enrolling their child in a school outside their home boundary for the 2024-2025 school year must apply during the open enrollment period, which is November 1, 2023, through December 20, 2023. While District 6 is able to accommodate most open enrollment requests, it may not be able to approve requests for enrollment into schools, specific grade levels or special programs that are at or above capacity or cannot fulfill the specific needs of the student.

Now Enrolling for Dual Language Immersion Elementary Program!

Beginning in the 2024-2025 school year, Meeker Elementary School will offer a dual language immersion option for students in Greeley-Evans School District 6. Dual Language Immersion provides instruction and support for students to become fully proficient in English and Spanish. Students will study literacy, math, social studies and science, as well as engage in specials classes like their peers. Students will receive instruction in core subjects in both English and Spanish.
