Welcome to Centennial's Health Office
Health Clerk Ms. James
Information from your Health Office:
Please parents encourage students to wash their hands throughout the day to help keep sickness down. We are in the midst of flu season.
If any student has a Health Concern and needs to have Medication at school, please come into the Health Office to get proper paperwork for signed doctor orders and parent permission for that medication at school. Medications that we DO NOT carry in the Health will need Physician Authorization even cough drops.
If your child is sick and you are taking them to the doctor, please get a doctor’s note to have the student excused from school.
Certain vaccines are required by the state of Colorado for entry into school, and required as your student grows. There are several resources available to all Centennial students. The Kids Care Clinic (348-1112) is a resource for students at no cost to the family; they can offer information about vaccines as well as provide immunizations. Also, there are several informative websites that are great resources for parents, some are www.ImmunizeForGood.com and www.ColoradoImmunizations.com. In addition, we encourage you to speak with your health care provider regarding any immunization questions. We appreciate your assistance with keeping our school a healthy place to learn. Just as a reminder, please bring in up to date vaccine records as new vaccines are administered.
