Currently my teaching duties include graphic design, IB DP Art I&II, IB DP Film and Theory of Knowledge.  Over the years, I have had the opportunity to practice numerous art media including graphics and video software.  As a practicing artist I have had exhibits all over the country. Art making keeps me current in the art world and helps me empathize as my students face and overcome struggles.

Recently, I have been teaching workshops and consulting for the International Baccalaureate program for other Art & ToK teachers. In leading these workshops I have been able to study education systems all over the globe including Nassau, Bahamas, Vancouver,British Columbia, Shanghai, China and San Jose, Costa Rica.  My perspective of our educational system and and my educational philosophy has been greatly expanded. As an Art Examiner for the IB program, I have been exposed to numerous successful art and teaching strategies. I was fortunate enough to be recognized as Weld county Teacher of the year in May of 2015 and Teacher of the Year at Greeley West in 2017.  In the GWHS art department, all performing and visual arts teachers work together to give students a rich experiences in the Fine Arts.
