    FOOTBALL AND SOCCER GENERAL INFORMATION

    LOCATION:  NHS is located at 100 71st Ave. Greeley, CO 80634.  We are located on the west side of Greeley at the intersection of Business US-34 and 71st Ave.
    Team Information 

    Buses: 

    Team buses have a separate entrance and will park on the east side of the stadium in the bus loop between the soccer and football fields.  The entrance is located just past the stadium at the northeast corner.  Please have student buses, band buses and spectator Buses drop off on the east side of the stadium and park in the east student parking lot.

    Game Video:  NHS will video all football home contests.  To receive a copy of the video, arrangements must be handled through the coaches or Athletic Office.

    Head Sets:   Currently Head Sets are available only for the home team.  Arrangements can be made prior to game for visiting teams.

    National Anthem and Coin Flip:  The coin flip with Team Captains shall take place five minutes prior to game time.  The National Anthem will follow and be played approximately three minutes prior to game time.  We request that all coaches, players and football personnel stand in front of their designated sideline.

    Playing Field:  Weld County Dist. 6 has a separate Soccer field and Football field. Both are natural grass fields.

    Team Colors:  NHS – Navy/Cardinal; Visitors – White

    Team Dressing:  Home and Visitor dressing rooms are located in the Field House just north of the field.

    Team Warm-up:  Visitors – South end of field.  NHS – North end of field.

    Visitor’s Team Bench:  East side of stadium.

     

    MEDIA

     

    Media Coverage:  Cable or radio coverage must be cleared through the Athletic Director’s Office (970.348.5201).  CHSAA guidelines will be followed.

    Press Box:  Room is limited.  Please contact the Athletic Directors Office (970.348.5201).

    Programs:  Programs will be provided by NHS.  Please send all necessary information (i.e. Rosters) to the NHS Athletic Department at least seven (5) days prior to the game. (GAANDERS@greeleyschools.org)

     

    SPECTATORS

     

    BANNERS:  A school’s official banner may be displayed.  Solicitation is not allowed at NHS unless approved by the Athletic Department.

    Boosters:  Boosters will set-up their merchandise in the concessions stand located on the west side of the stadium.  A second concession stand is located on the north side of the field which is also used during soccer events.

    Parking:  Is located on the West side of the stadium (please see map)

    Sportsmanship / CHSAA:   An educational environment is critical to the success of high school athletics.  An important part of that environment is planning for good SPORTING BEHAVIOR.  Without good SPORTING BEHAVIOR on the playing field, the lessons learned lose their value.  Remember the next time you attend an interscholastic event that you are really inside a classroom where good sports receive the highest grades.  A message from the Colorado High School Activities Association, The Denver Post and Adams City High School.

    Tailgating:  If you plan to tail gate in the parking lot, please remember that NHS is Alcohol, Drug and Tobacco Free.  Please throw any trash in the trash receptacles located around the stadium.

     

    Adults $5.00

    Students (with ID), over 6 and Senior Citizens (65) - $4.00

    CHSAA and Tri-Valley League passes will only be accepted

    (Students are subject to adult admission unless identified by activity cards, identification cards, or authorized by school official.)

     

    Tobacco Free:  NHS and schools in the Weld County Dist. 6 are Tobacco Free.

    Visitor Seating:  East Side of the Stadium.

    Stadium Entrance:  Stadium Entrance for all Fans is located on the west side of the stadium.
