Danielle Bock

Danielle Bock is a native Coloradoan. Born and raised in Denver, she attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, receiving a BA in English Literature. After college, she relocated to Seattle, WA where she pursued a career in Food Service Management and Operations Leadership.

Her work history has taken her on a journey through food service, from pastry production to dinner service, from prep to executive chef, eventually ending up as the Director of Operations of the Food Bank serving all of Western Washington.

Now back in Colorado, Danielle is dedicated to the idea of people eating for a happier and healthier life.  She believes that food is a right, and not a privilege, and everyone should have access to quality food and the facts about what they are putting in their body. 

She lives in Fort Collins with her partner, Amy, 13-year daughter, Eva and Catahoula Leopard dog, Jake.

Kara studied Food Science and Human Nutrition at Colorado State University and completed her Dietetic Internship in San Diego, CA.  She has spent her entire career working in school nutrition (12+ years!).  Kara oversees all the programs operated by the Nutrition Services Department--including the culinary amazing-ness in the Central Production Kitchen, Student & Staff Wellness initiatives, Farm to School procurement and School Gardens.  Kara is also the Vice President for the Colorado School Nutrition Association and enjoys representing school nutrition professionals across the state in that role.  She believes that feeding kids in the school setting--and providing them with nutrition education--is an important pillar in supporting their academic achievement and future successes!

Lori Pudliner

Lori has been with Nutrition Services since Nov. 2015. She has oversight of all aspects of the financial side of the department and works closely with Finance. She is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado. Lori has worked with Kansas State Board of Education, Colorado Department of Education, and the Texas Education Agency in a variety of roles over her career. She is passionate about the health and nutrition of children in our schools and the impact it has on their education.

Matt Poling

Matt is a culinary arts graduate from Paul Smith’s College in New York state.  He leads our  production team comprised of a Sous Chef and 13 additional skilled individuals.  This team has 3.5 years of experience in high volume food production from sauces to main entrees and is well versed in processing local agricultural products into usable end products for our school kitchens.  Matt works extensively on recipe and menu development.

Kristopher Simmons

Kris is a Greeley native and graduate of Northridge High School. He has several years of culinary experience that he brings to the District 6 Central Production Kitchen. Kris assists in recipe development with an emphasis on making healthy food that is fun, safe, and delicious. Go Grizzlies!

Rachel Hurshman; MPH; RDN

Rachel is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and has her Masters of Public Health from the Colorado School of Public Health. She has been with Greeley-Evans School District 6 since May 2013. Rachel is the Wellness Coordinator for District 6 where she leads Student Wellness and Worksite Wellness initiatives including program planning, support, implementation and assessment in addition to grant writing, building community partnerships, leading dietetic interns and advocating for school health. She is passionate about improving wellbeing and the domino effect that can have on improving behavior and academics.

Caitlin Christensen; SNS

Caitlin is a School Nutrition Specialist and holds Bachelors of Science degree in Dietetics from Iowa State University. She is a passionate about child nutrition and strives to ensure no child goes to bed hungry.  Caitlin is responsible for oversight of schools in the west side of Greeley as well as Standard Operating Procedures and Staff Training Programs.

Rebecca Robbins, MS, RDN

Rebecca is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and has her Master of Science in Community Nutrition from Colorado State University. As the Nutrition and Menu Specialist for the district, she helps enhance the health and nutrition of students by planning nutritionally sound menus that conform to USDA standards. She also oversees the special dietary needs process, manages grant writing and evaluation, and aids in providing a link between the areas of Nutrition and Student Wellness. She is passionate about child nutrition, nutrition education, food justice, and local food systems.

Aria is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, and holds a Master of Science degree in Dietetics from Illinois State University. Though a native of San Diego, CA she realized from a young age that she was very much a mountain girl at heart. She moved to Fort Collins, CO with her family in 2008 to attend Colorado State University, and hasn’t looked back (or down) since! Aria spent several years working in Phoenix, AZ as a dietitian and clinic trainer for the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program. She always felt she would return to Colorado to begin a career in school nutrition, and in 2017, she jumped at the perfect opportunity to match her training/coaching skills with arguably the most innovative SN department in Colorado! Aria helps develop and administer new training programs and initiatives for D6, in addition to providing individualized day-to-day support for kitchen staff and the operations team. Aria is passionate about adult learning and child nutrition, and loves training and coaching kitchen staff to provide healthy, safe food, and excellent customer service to the students of Greeley/Evans!

Sabrina originally comes  from Yuma, Az. and moved with her family to Colorado in 2014. She attended University of Phoenix, receiving her BA in Human Services. Sabrina joined Nutrition Services in 2016 as a Roving manager then became a Kitchen manager and now is our Back of the House Program Specialist. Having children with severer Food Allergies she is very passionate about assuring  every child's meal will be safe as well as health for them to eat. Sabrina is responsible for receiving and auditing all  back of the house kitchen paperwork and supervises all substitutes to ensure that all school Kitchens function smoothly to ensuring that kids get feed.

Logan Vance

Logan is a public relations graduate from the University of Northern Colorado. Logan ensures that the department is represented in a professional manner at all times. He provides general administrative support  and assists the department staff, faculty and visitors in a variety of ways. Logan moved to Greeley from the Eastern Plains about 5 years ago and is proud to be part of the Nutrition Services team.
