Grade: 1st

Hi, Everyone! This will be my 8th year teaching 1st grade at Madison Elementary, now known as James Madison STEAM Academy. This year will be so amazing because we get to be in our new beautiful building!

Before teaching at Madison,  I lived in Grand Junction where I earned my degree from Colorado Mesa University in 2008.  I taught 3rd grade and 2nd grade in Grand Junction until moving to Greeley in 2014. I received my Master's Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Grand Canyon University in 2019. My husband and I have three children who are grown up but we have three dogs and two cats at home to help keep us company.
