8th Grade Social Studies

Hello there! My name is Christina Reese. I am currently Franklins 6th grade Social Studies teacher for the school year. I graduated from Colorado State University in 2021 with a bachelors in Social Studies education as well as a bachelors in History. I began my education at a community college, Santiago Canyon, where I also have an Associates in History. Before my pathway to my career began, I have known since I was in 4th grade that teaching and being there for our scholars was my calling. I am originally from Orange County, California, until I moved to Fort Collins in 2018 for school. I am currently the co-sponsor of Student Council, Yearbook, and am the head coach for Boys Soccer. When not in the classroom, I love to be outdoors rockhounding, hiking, or traveling to other countries. I also love to be indoors at a Colorado Avalanche game! Go Vipers!!
