• Hello! I am Meagan Reliford and I am in my TENTH year teaching Physical Education at Madison. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in December of 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Exercise Science, and a minor in Youth Development. Go Bears! I am currently enrolled at Grand Canyon University, completing my Master's in Educational Leadership. Lopes Up!

    I started at Madison in August of 2013. I love health, nutrition, exercise, and having FUN! I am passionate about teaching kids about physical activity and living healthy lives, but also enjoy being involved in and doing things for my school. I enjoy being part of the district Worksite Wellness and Student Wellness teams, organizing the Kids Heart Challenge, the Schools on the Move Challenge, wellness fairs, and Field Day! I want every student who comes to PE to feel safe and have fun, all while helping them learn how to be healthy and active. I am very excited about the changes coming with our new building... this will be our last year as Madison Elementary... looking forward to our beautiful James Madison STEAM Academy!

    I have been married to my wonderful husband for nine years! He is also a PE Teacher in District 6. We have two boys- our oldest is 8 and our youngest is 4. We love to play outside, go to the park, ride our bikes, travel, play sports, laugh, and play board games. I cherish my time with them! My hobbies include running long distances, exercising, baking, and cleaning.
