TSOI Remote Learning Plan
Hello TSOI Families!
As we collectively dive into our new remote learning experience this week, we thought it would be a good idea to communicate some new norms, guidelines, schedules and more in a one-stop-shop for families. In this packet, you will find the need-to-know quick notes for a variety of topics. In addition to cluing you in to what the district has put together, we also know you’re curious what this means for the TSOI community specifically. Hopefully this will be enough to get everyone started!
**Please note this document is FULL of links out to a variety of other information (instructions for new platforms, new Band websites, letters from Collaborators, etc). This packet was going to be enormous if we piled it all in here, so we have added links where we thought necessary.
Thank you all for rolling with the punches during what is truly an historic time. Click the link below and as you peruse, feel free to reach out with questions!

District 6 Headlines
Your District 6 Board of Education wants to recognize the staff, students, parents, guardians, and community members who have come together to ensure our students can access learning and have what they need to continue their education. Here is a personal "thank you" note from us to all of you who have worked so hard on behalf of the 22,000 students of District 6. You are appreciated!
As some of you may have already heard, some school districts in Colorado have made the decision to keep school buildings closed and continue with remote learning for the remainder of the school year. Today, Greeley-Evans School District 6 is choosing not to join these districts. Like District 6, most school districts in Weld County are waiting for additional data and recommendations from the state and county health officials. This week, Governor Jared Polis issued an order for all schools in Colorado to stop in-person learning through April 30. For now, that is the date that District 6 is working toward.
Governor Jared Polis announced today that all schools in Colorado will be closed to in-person learning until April 30, 2020. Anticipating this announcement, we have plans in place to continue virtual education through that time.
