Welcome to 2nd grade!
I am so excited to be at Shawsheen again this year! I have been in our district my entire teaching career - 26 years! I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades at Jackson and Winograd, as well as an Instructional Math Coach for our district. I have learned so much from all the wonderful teachers we have in our district and I am excited to share what I have learned with your children this year!
I have 2 children, one is still living with me! My son is 19 years old and in his 2nd year seeking his college degree in North Carolina and my daughter is a 17 year old Senior at Greeley Central! I love them with all my heart! I also have 2 dogs named Lady and Joey as well as a cat named Squirrley. They are all adopted pets! Between my teenagers and my pets I am plenty busy! I enjoy crafting and going to concerts with friends when I can.
I have lived in Colorado all my life. I grew up in Westminster and then moved to Greeley when I attended UNC. My first teaching position landed me here in Greeley and I haven't left! I have my Masters degree in Reading Education from UNC.
I look forward to working beside you this year as we work together with your child.
