Mrs. April Jennings

Hello, my name is April Jennings. This is my fourth year teaching preschool at Shawsheen. I am grateful to be part of such a wonderful school!

I have been part of the District 6 Preschool Program for nine years. I love teaching preschool! I am passionate about setting the foundation for young learners and getting preschools excited about their education.

I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. I moved to Greeley to attend UNC, where I earned a Bachelors's degree in General Education with an emphasis in Elementary Education. In December, I graduated with my master's in Early Childhood Special Education.

I met my husband 15 years ago. We live together with our two children, two dogs, and four chickens. We love spending time camping in the mountains, swimming, hosting barbecues, and spending time with the people we love. My hobbies are hiking, paddleboarding, exercising, and reading.

I look forward to exploring, growing, and learning with Sparrowhawk preschoolers and their families this year!
