Mrs. Tiffanie Becher
Hi there! I am so excited to be working at Greeley West this year as the GT Specialist!
A bit about me first. I am a Colorado native, growing up in Monte Vista, a smaller community in Southern CO. I graduated with a class of 68 students from Monte Vista High School back in 1999. After that, I made the trek north, and came to Greeley to attend college at UNC. I graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Rehabilitative Services, a mouthful, I know. After that, I always found myself working in different positions that allowed me to work with children. In 2007, I decided I needed to change my path and make a career out of teaching. I completed my Masters of Education through the University of Phoenix online in 2009. Recently I completed the Educational Leadership program through UNC, earning my administrative license.
At an early age, I knew teaching was where life would lead. I just had to spend some time deciding just how that would look for me. In my teaching career that has spanned 16 years now, I have served many different roles: GT Specialist, Kindergarten teacher, 5th grade teacher, and a science teacher for an alternative middle/high school program here in Greeley.
I have been fortunate enough to work with amazing individuals who all taught me great things, and have had the honor of working with hundreds of amazing students who give me hope daily! I reside in Greeley with my husband of 18 years, our two children, two very active big lap dogs and 1 adorable kitten. We love life in Colorado, and I couldn't be more fortunate to work for an amazing district. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to send me a quick email.
