Acacia Chacon

Hello, my name is Acacia Chacon and I am so excited to get to know each of you as we build a brand new school together!

When I'm not teaching students about the history and cultures of the Americas, I am busy building myself a happy life. I grew up in Denver and have family from both Colorado and Nebraska. I completed my Bachelor's in history at Colorado State University and my Master's in educational leadership from Adams State University. For the past six years I have taught social studies at Heath Middle School where I also enjoyed sponsoring an engaging and successful LULAC chapter. Beyond being a lifelong learner, I also enjoy: cooking, hunting for old records, scrolling on my phone for far too long, exploring new places, watching scary movies, and spending time with my loved ones.

I can't wait to get to know each of you and build a wonderful school community together!
