Mrs. Carrie Bacon

My name is Carrie Bacon and I am the school nurse at Madison Elementary! I have been a nurse for 12 years, but this is my first year as a school nurse. The best part of my job is getting to know the students at Madison and helping them feel better when they are sick or injured. I enjoy teaching others about health-related subjects. When I am not at school, I enjoy hiking, traveling, camping and spending time with friends and family. My family includes my husband, my five-year-old daughter and my one-year-old Goldendoodle. I was born and raised on an island off the coast of North Carolina. To this day, I can spend hours swimming in the ocean. I love to snorkel and collect shells. I am so excited about being a Madison Eagle and a school nurse!
