This project-based leadership course develops student understanding and skills in such areas as communication skills, emotional intelligence, operations, and professional development. Students acquire an understanding and appreciation of the need for leadership skills. The capstone activity of the course is the implementation of a service-learning project. Throughout the course, students are presented problem-solving situations for which they must apply academic and critcal-thinking skills. Formal reflection is an ongoing component of the course.

This course is eligible for credit at Aims Community College through a concurrent enrollment agreement (MAR2016-Principles of Marketing- 3.0 Credits: Presents the analysis of theoretical marketing processes and the strategies of product development, pricing, promotion and distribution, and their applications to businesses and the individual consumer.)
