District 6 strongly supports secondary (Grades 6-12) education and student involvement in World Languages. Some of the middle schools offer introductory courses to students in grades 6-8 in both Spanish and French, as part of their electives choices. Though optional, high school students (Grades 9-12) are offered courses in Spanish, French, and German (availability varies by school), which can be taken as elective course choices for graduation.
