Mrs. Martinez majored in Physics and ahs a BA from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She has been teaching Physics fo 24 years, and this will be her 18th year at Greeley Central. Outside the classroom, Mrs. Martinez can be found around town spending time with her husband and two children. 

Mrs. Martinez teaches all levels of Physics, including Advanced Placement Physics. AP Physics 1 (for arts and science majors) is a FIRST year Physics course equivalent to the first semester of college physics. AP Physics 2 is the second semester of college Physics and is only available for students who have completed AP Physics 1. AP Physics c ( for engineering and Physics majors which is a calculus based class) must be preceded by either Physics or AP Physics 1. 

In addition to teaching, Mrs. Martinez is the Key Club Faculty Advisor. Key Club is an international service club which finds ways to serve both local and international communities. Greeley Central's Key Club has been recognized both locally and internationally for their outstanding service projects. All students are welcome to come to meetings and may join at any time.
