  • Monday Late Start

    For the 2021-2022 School Year, all non-charter District 6 schools will start one hour later on Mondays. For students attending Harold S. Winograd K-8 school begins at 8:45 AM and ends at 3:10 PM. Supervison for students in the morning begins at 8:30 AM and breakfast will also be made available at that time. Students will be marked as tardy if they arrive after 8:50 AM.     There are numerous opportunities for students and families to access low cost and free Sports Physicals over the next few weeks. Please note the following dates, times and locations. 1.   • Boundary Adjustments

    Greeley-Evans School District 6 is working with Shannon Bingham of Western Demographics to complete a boundary study for elementary and middle schools. The purpose of the boundary study is to create a homeschool boundary for the new Tointon Academy of Pre-Engineering, create a homeschool boundary for the new Madison PK-8 school, relieve schools that are over capacity and remove portable classrooms, and determine where to build additions onto existing buildings that are over capacity.

  • District 6 schools, offices closed for Memorial Day

    All non-charter schools and offices will be closed Monday, May 30 for the Memorial Day holiday. This includes the District 6 Administration Building. All District 6 facilities will reopen on Tuesday, May 31.

    We, at Greeley-Evans School District 6, are devastated by the loss of children and educators in Uvalde, Texas yesterday. Our hearts go out to the residents of this small Texas town, especially to those who have suffered unthinkable loss. Their pain and their grief is felt by all of us in the world of public education. We mourn with them.

    Happy Last Day of school, District 6! It's been a fun week with end-of-year celebrations, field days, assemblies, award ceremonies, bridging ceremonies and graduations. I am sad that the weather doesn't appear to be cooperating for our outdoor graduations Friday and Saturday, but regardless, we will celebrate our graduates with grace and joy!

    "We are very proud of Danielle and the whole Nutrition Services team," said Superintendent Dr. Deirdre Pilch. "During COVID-19, Danielle and her staff stepped up in a huge way, ensuring that our students had access to food even when we switched to remote learning. She is innovative and involved, and truly represents what is best about District 6."
