At the beginnin of the year I sent home this link for you, just in case you need to help your child at home with homework and don't understand how it was taught at school. Please use this link to help your child! The module and lesson are always at the top of your child's homework.

Reading
This year we adopted a new reading serries called Wonders by McGraw-Hill. At conferences I gave you your child's log in information so that at home you can help your child practice the skills we are learning in reading. Please encourage your child to go on at least twice a week to practice the skills we are learning in class.

This website goes along with our math curriculum. At parent teacher conferences I gave your child their log in. Please have your student go on at least a couple times a week to practice what we have been learning in class! This site uses fun games as well as has a teacher reteach lessons to ensure that your child understands and can apply the math we are learning.

Whole Brain Teaching
In class I use whole brain teaching as a way to teach students! We use lots of gestures and repetition to make sure that we understand a new concept. Please check out the website so you can better understand how your students are being taught in class.
